File edit traces and metadata

A file carries its own metrics: dates, the writing software, the camera data and the location. The check runs locally in the browser and ends with a single technical result — from “no significant alteration signals detected” to “strong editing signals” — broken down by dimension and along a timeline. A photo straight from a camera is described as showing no detected edit signals; a screenshot or a messenger file is ordinary material, not an accusation. The verdict is produced locally — the file stays on your device.

File edit-trace review

A file can be checked locally before handing the material over. The browser reads the dates, writing software, camera data, location from the file and gaps in the metadata without sending the file to Akta.

Preliminary checkThe full report stays in the case folder

This screen does not accept materials for a case. It shows the traces stored in the local copy of the file; the full report with an activity history works after opening a case folder or account.
