For legal counsel and law firms
Client materials under firm control
The law firm receives files from clients, describes their source, checks the version and assembles a package for further circulation. The register keeps provenance, version and activity history — the recipient receives context, not just the file’s fingerprint.
Material handling
From receiving a file to a ready package
Receive materials from the client
The client or the team hands files into the right case folder, not into a random directory.
Functions performed in Akta
The register keeps files, source, version, report and activity history.
Functions outside the system
The decision and the formal filing stay with the law firm.
Law firm work
Information required by the law firm
For each material, the law firm receives information about its source, version, completed checks and whether it is ready for further handoff.
Client case folders
One place for the materials of many people, without mixing matters or random folders.
Source description
Who handed over the file, where they have it from, when it was obtained and how it relates to the matter.
Version check
A comparison of the file against the version saved in the case folder or the package.
Handoff package
A file list, reports, activity history and check instructions for the recipient.
Material origin
Material origin and confirmation
An external file or web page enters the same case folder as the record of applied safeguards and the attestation of its provenance.
Adding a file from an external source
A conversation export, an e-mail message or a document can be added. The system records readable content and separates information contained in the file from facts that require confirmation.
Recording the content of a web page
The system records the content of the indicated web address together with the address, title and recording date.
Information about applied safeguards
The material card lists the safeguards actually applied. A qualified timestamp is reported only after its status has been confirmed.
Confirmation of material origin
A signed document describing the source may be attached to the material. The recipient can independently check the signature and the consistency of the recorded information.
Organization account
The law firm works in a set-up organization account
An organization account holds the firm’s team: users with roles, client folders each with their own activity history, and package export shared in one place.
Material qualification
File versions
Materials to hand over
Scope of materials for handoff
Material card
Name, source, description, file fingerprint, date added and check result.
Edit traces report
Time of creation, data from the file, the program that saved it, gaps and risk signals.

Who added, checked, downloaded, invited the recipient or exported the material.
Handoff package
File list, materials, report, activity history and check instructions.

Checks required before use

Who handed over the file and where they obtained it from.
Dates and data from the file
What can be seen in the file and what is missing from it.
Version match
Whether the file fingerprint matches the version in the case folder.
