A clear package for institutions
A materials package is prepared, one that a recipient in a court or public office understands at a glance: what they received, where it came from, whether it is the same version and who carried out the actions. The court or authority weighs the material; what moves on is put in order.
This is the package on the recipient’s desk
A sample package. Select an item to see what the recipient establishes without opening every file in turn — and where a gap shows at once.
Item is legible — source and version described.
A sample package — illustrative data. The real package is checked by the recipient in their own process.
Institutional receipt stages
Each file is given a source description, a version and the person handing it over.
The recipient gets an index of items, an action history and instructions for checking.
A file is compared with the version recorded in the folder or in the package index.
The court, authority or arbitrator assesses the material in their own normal process.
What else goes into the package
An external file or web page appears in the same index as the safeguards applied and the attestation of the material’s provenance.
“Upload an export or document”
The sender adds a ready file from outside: a chat export, an e-mail message (.eml or .mbox) or an Office/PDF document. The package holds a transcript and an assessment that describes possession of the file separately from its authorship.
“Preserve a web page”
Content at a web address recorded server-side: the address, the response status, the title and the time of capture go into the package index.
Material safeguards
Each material lists its fingerprint, timestamp and a qualified status only when that status has been verified.
Material provenance attestation
A signed provenance attestation for the material that the recipient can check independently.
A sensible rollout starts with one thing: whether the recipient understands the package and quickly finds a gap.
